The City of Toronto's environmental awards of excellence honour and celebrate the individuals, organizations and companies leading the way to a cleaner, greener and more liveable Toronto. Award winners receive a prestigious Green Toronto Award and $5,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

Important dates: Nominations for 2010 open on January 1, 2010. Deadline for nominations is February 12, 2010. Awards show is on April 23, 2010.

Winners will be announced at the award show on April 23, 2010 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, as part of the Green Living Show’s main stage programming. This event is co-hosted by Mayor David Miller and Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone.
