TIM FLANNERY TO SPEAK ON THE MAIN STAGE
The Green Living Show welcomes speaker Tim Flannery to the main stage. Flannery is the renowned scientist and international best-selling author of The Weather Makers: The History and Future Impact of Climate Change. It has been called "one of the most important books of the young century" by David Suzuki, and has transformed the way political leaders, corporations and citizens view–and respond to–our man-made crisis. Flannery has started, and continues to lead, the most important global conversation of our time.

FARM FRESH FARE OFFERS MOUTH-WATERING DISHES
Farm Fresh Fare, presented by Toyota,
is a celebration of fresh and artisanal foods from Ontario. This exciting new feature is an inspirational pairing of local food producers and regional gourmet chefs to create mouth-watering dishes. More than fifteen food stations will offer tasting-size food portions using ingredients from local farms and sustainable food producers who will also be on-site including The Healthy Butcher, Oyster Boy, Organic Meadow, Beretta Farms and Jamie Kennedy Kitchens among others.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will go towards projects undertaken by not-for-profit organizations, Evergreen
and Slow Food.
EARTH RUN TORONTO LAUNCHES AT THE GREEN LIVING SHOW
The Earth Run Foundation
is the international organization founded to create awareness for environmental issues and to support local environmental initiatives. The Earth Run/Walk for the Environment launches at the Green Living Show at 9am on Sunday, April 26, 2009. Exhibitors are encouraged to start their day in a heart-pumping way and register a team. Get out your running shoes and join thousands of people across Canada who want to make a difference in their community and for the earth.

NEW GREEN SCREEN GUIDLINES ARE NOW ONLINE
In order to help consumers identify the legitimate green accomplishments of companies that are innovating to protect our environment, Green Living has developed a green review process. This process is in line with our mandate to promote the highest standards of environmental responsibility. This screening document is now part of the overall application process to the Show, and is available online. Show exhibitors can rest assured that they are in good company as all exhibitors in all categories are assessed by standard criteria. Please contact your Account Director with any questions. Call for Submissions
LAST CHANCE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR THE GREEN TORONTO AWARDS
This is the last week to get your nominations in for the City of Toronto’s 5th annual Green Toronto Awards. Individuals, organizations and companies are eligible to win an award – in multiple categories – plus $5,000 to donate to a registered charity of their choice. Help us recognize the people who are making Toronto a cleaner, greener and more liveable city.
