Ensures that: fisheries and seafood businesses meet standards for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability. This means:

  • ensuring sustainable fish stocks (no overexploitation of the fish population);
  • managing fisheries effectively;
  • meeting all laws; and
  • minimizing environmental impact on the fishery’s ecosystem
