Deep Threat

1997 | Directed and animated by Zlatko Grgic | 7 min 12 s

Through an intricate process of evolution, the Earth and its oceans gave man life and in return man said, “Gee thanks Earth” and promptly began to heap junk all over it. That pretty much sums up the plotline of Zlatko Grgic’s quirky seven-minute animated short, which pokes fun at human folly through a comic use of oversimplification. It’s worth a whirl on your iPhone, if only for the deranged Dr. Seuss-like depictions of greedy cement trucks and fishes.
