Our forests are the cradle of our civilizations. Thus the song: ``Rock-a-by Baby, on a Tree Top...``as you ``go with the flow``. Tree houses are so cool and so fun!
Okay! I've lived in teepees, old shacks, cabins of various sorts, shapes and sizes, I've thought having a tree growing up through the centre of the house would be great and wonderful (treehouse living would be pretty groovy and cool) but I'm not sure about living in a ball suspended above the forest floor. Reminds of prehistoric raptors and modern eagles, big nest, big egg, but who can wait for those fledgling feathers to grow and evolve so one can soar free above the canopy and o'er those lofty mountain peaks! A treehouse society would definitely change our perspective of the world!
We have the good fortune to live, at least part of the year, in a steel, teak and glass treehouse in Costa Rica which is located in an eco-forest on a mountainside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. http://www.junglavista.com
Oh my gosh, I always wanted my house to have a tree growing right through the middle of it(: I definitely love tree houses, either for play or living in, and these are amazing! I have some other cool houses at my blog if you want to see, not all tree houses though(: http://yovia.com/blogs/kimberly/2009/06/24/httpwwwpointclickhomecomdecor...
let's hope that the pine beetle doesn't attack those trees... it would be depressing
ha! i like the circle shaped one! imagine living in a circle!??
I just think that these are the coolest houses that I have seen in a long time. I could definitely conceive of building one of these houses. I hope to be one of the tree house people someday. They look so peaceful, like someplace you can really meditate on God in.
what happens on windy days? Doesnt the house swing back and forth??
Pretty cool stuff
The tree spirit sphere reminds me of Tim Burton!
