When three visionary companies, all interested in building sustainably, get together the results are inspiring. Thanks to the partnership formed between LivingHomes, Nexterra Green Homes and Conquest Manufacturing Ltd., Toronto will see 4 modern, sustainably built, LEED certified homes, to be located in an “eco-enclave” in North York on Senlac Road.
“We are quite honored to bring LivingHomes to the Canadian market, particularly with the partners we have, Conquest and Nexterra Green Homes,” said LivingHomes CEO Steve Glenn. “We have experienced significant interest in LivingHomes from Canadians over the past couple of years and it’s clear why: There has been more interest in Canada for sustainable design and for modern architecture than most any country in the world.”
LivingHomes works with leading architects like Ray Kappe, FAIA, who has designed the Nexterra Green Homes, and KieranTimberlake, to create lines of homes that feature modern form and functionality with best-in-class healthy and sustainable materials and energy systems. Using high volume, factory production increases the quality of the homes while it reduces their cost, schedule, and construction waste, compared to those that are designed and built conventionally and on-site.
