Celebrate the July long weekend with a new twist on cherries

Cherry Mustard (Great with steak!)

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup (60 mL) yellow mustard seeds
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) black mustard seeds
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) dried cherries
  • ½ cup(125 mL) water
  • 5-6 tbsp (75 – 90 mL) vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and let sit 2 hours.
  2. Puree the mustard to desired consistency.
