Pacific Cod

Pacific cod from the U.S. is recommended as a best choice (also known as Grey or True cod). Ask your fishmonger how it’s caught: the most sustainable methods are bottom longline, jigging and pot. Avoid eating Atlantic cod, which is endangered or threatened.
