Endangered Species in Canada

From orcas to owls, help your kids get to know Canada’s species at risk and how to protect them

There’s no disputing that kids love animals. So why not introduce them to a few that they can really help?

According to the federal government's Species at Risk Act, there are 516 species that are classified as endangered in Canada. Sadly, some of the most significant threats to these plants and animals are human: for example, habitat destruction as a result of pollution or urban development as well as overhunting.

I lve animals so much ever since I was a little girl I loved going outside and playing eith my puppies and every once in a while I would get to the owls flying by but now a days they don't seem to fly around at all anymore, maybe it's because they are in hiding, flew away to somewhere safe, or are even endangered, alls I know is that we need to do something to Help the endangered animals and soon or else we'll never have anything really to look at anymore
