Pita Break Pizza



Pizza is a favourite snack or meal for all ages and any time of day. When you have Pita Break pitas on hand, you can indulge your love for pizza and create whatever variety you can dream up!



Ingredients:



For the crust:


  • Pita Break’s Organic Whole Wheat Large Pita



Toppings:



  • ¼ cup prepared pizza sauce

  • Sliced meats such as pepperoni, ham or chicken

  • 1/8 cup veggie toppings such as diced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and sliced hot peppers 

  • ¼ cup Feta cheese

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano



Directions:



  1. Pre-heat toaster or traditional oven to 350° F.


  2. Place Pita Break’s Organic Whole Wheat Large Pita on baking sheet. Top with desired sauce, meats, veggies, herbs and cheese.


  3. Bake for 7 - 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is hot.


  4. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
  5. Slice with pizza wheel or knife and serve.
