8 Priceless National Parks
Every Canadian should make a point of exploring the incredible marine coastal environment of the Bay of Fundy and the Caledonia Highlands plateau with its lush forests and deep river valleys. Take a beach walk along the shores of the Bay of Fundy after its tide (the highest in the world) goes out and see what is left behind in the intertidal zone. Every week during the summer a program called Tidal Art invites children to create sculptures on the beach using only natural objects left by the last high tide.
Eco Fact: As part of an eco-integrity plan, Fundy is working toward becoming a dark sky preserve—a place to come to see the stars.
