They say it’s not the destination, but how you get there. Finding Farley, a new film from husband-and-wife team Leanne Allison and Karsten Heuer (known for their documentary Being Caribou) proves it. To visit one of Canada’s preeminent storytellers, the couple pack themselves, their 2-year-old son and the family canine into their canoe, then journey from Calgary to Cape Breton, retracing the literary route taken by Farley Mowat and the characters in his novels.
