Green Living Show 2015

March 23, 2015

Spring Issue: Food Glorious Food!

At this year’s Green Living Show, we’ll investigate this issue head on, giving you the tools to change your habits and help change these statistics. Up first, our partners from the University of Guelph, who have been studying the issue of food waste for 2 years, give us some great insights and simple things we can do to shop smarter and use what’s in our fridge, which helps keep more money in our pockets.

Next up, our friends at Not Far from the Tree look at how urban harvesters are changing attitudes to wasted food.

We also have a scrumptious bread pudding recipe, from Chef Daniel Holloway from Urban Acorn Catering. This is a delicious way to use up day-old bread and some perfectly imperfect fruit.

FREE admissionIt’s almost here: The Green Living Show opens on Friday March 27! Admission is free when you bring in a piece of electronic waste for responsible recycling. We’ve rounded up the must-see and do things at the Show!

P.S.: Enter to WIN one of five copies of the Salvage Chef Cookbook!
