Me to We Style
Jessi Africa Tee
As a fashion lover and big city gal, Jessi ventured into the Maasai Mara in 2009 to live with a Massai family in rural Kenya. There, she was deeply inspired by the resilience of her Maasai family, working to lift themselves and their community out of poverty. Paying tribute to their traditional geometric beadwork and designs, Jessi’s new Maasai-inspired shirt is her way of giving back to her Kenyan family.
More than just a shirt, the Africa Tee is Canadian-made, sweatshop-free and eco-friendly, made from 100 per cent organic cotton and fifty percent of Me To We Styles profits go to their partner Free the Children. Inspired by the brilliant reds, yellows and whites in the intricate beadwork of the Maasai women, the one-shoulder Africa Tee is a fun, fashionable alternative to your traditional tee.
