In addition to using paper sourced from well-managed forests and vegetable-based inks, Colour Innovations has gone green in other ways. The company has cut pollution created by the pre-press and printing process by, for example, reducing the emissions of volatile organic compounds and removing pollutants from liquid waste. Colour Innovations has also been honoured for its environmental commitment, receiving the Environmental Printing Awards’ Gold Award as the most environmentally progressive printer in Canada.
