The DeLish Bite

You may not know it, but if you're using typical household cleaners or common personal care products, you could be messing around with dangerous chemicals. Chemicals that aren't just bad for your home and the environment, but for you and your family as well. Enter Method, an eco-friendly line of cleaning supplies. Clean and green, Method, was begun in 1999 by Eric Ryan & Adam Lowry. Their aim was to create totally biodegradable and environmentally friendly cleaning products that look as good as they clean. In a few short years, they seem to have done just that. The sheer volume of the line in itself is impressive. They produce everything from household cleaners including all-purpose sprays, dish soaps, dishwasher detergents, floor cleaners, bath scrubs, toilet cleaners, leather wipes, floor mops and dusters to a full range of body care products that will not only have you squeaky clean but smelling like roses too. Want your baby and kids in on the fun? They now also have a full range of kids and baby products. The people at Method are also going above and beyond providing consumers with non-toxic cleaning supplies. In addition to ensuring that their full line of cleaning formulas contain biodegradable ingredients derived from natural materials like soy, coconut and palm oils, they have built their entire company philosophy around being green. Their packaging is made from the most readily recyclable materials including bamboo, corn and coconut oil. Their CO2 emissions from employee commute and travel are offset with carbon credits. The energy used in their manufacturing sites and office is from renewable energy credits. And, their products are never tested on animals. Now this is a company that I want to support.
