We Day! A youth movement that is not so quietly changing the world!

Not too much if you’ve been following the popularity and enthusiasm surrounding the We Day youth movement, as it makes its way across Canada this year.

“Youth leading global change is the movement of our time. WeDay.com is where the movement lives.”

After enormously successful and rousing events in Toronto and Vancouver, We Day will be landing in Kitchener on November 16th and Winnipeg on November 23rd.

“At We Day, youth from across North America join together to celebrate the positive actions they are taking and to build the momentum of the movement of young people making a difference in their communities and around the world. Through We Day, youth learn that it is cool to care.”

An initiative of Free the Children, all are invited to get involved. Anything from learning the We Day Dance to watching the event live from local schools, there is also a We Day app and you can even connect through their Facebook page. Check it out, get involved. If your school isn’t on board yet, take action to become a We School and you’ll get to participate live in next year’s cross Canada event!

We Day. A cool way for youth to get involved and see how their individual actions can make a big difference. We Day is a living example of how enthusiasm is contagious and leads to actions and positive results.
