It has long been the preferred snack for pandas and is now one of the hot fabrics taking fashion by storm... it's bamboo!

What better way to show off its wonders than with beautiful articles of clothing?! That is precisely what Panda Snack has done. This company uses a knit material made primarily of the sustainable grass.

But just how "green" is bamboo? Well, it can grow up to a foot per day - talk about rapidly renewing resources! And better yet, it's organic. Plus, the super light-weight airy fabrics breathe easily, are incredible soft, and just plain feel great to wear.

Shirts, jackets, sweaters, dresses, scarves, vests... I don't think there is anything that Panda Snack can't make out of this super-fabric. And their designs are to die for! I have one of their little black hoodies that I wear with just about anything. It truly is the perfect article of clothing and I adore it.

As Panda Snack points out, bamboo is one of the most versatile plants in the world - used commonly for food, shelter, fuel, and now clothing! Basically, bamboo rocks.

yeah.. i've heard some stufff about bamboo not exactly being a "green" prodcut, but hey- it's better to use some bamboo to cut back on our tree usage and its better than anything plastic!! i found this blog that features some really cool bamboo products : blog.guffly.com whoever knew that bamboo could make so many different things, and be a fabric too! weird!
It's imporant to check out Green claims - such as those surrounding raw materials like bamboo - there are so many common misconceptions surrounding sustainability. Check out our myth-busting video “What’s Your Big Green Lie?!” which gives a taste of the widespread ignorance of green issues at http://www.biggreenlies.com.
