My last blog talked about water being the number one beauty tip for a beautiful face. We're all trying to break our bottled water habit, especially after reading about the chemicals that leach from the plastic. But what alternatives are out there for clean, pure water?
Water filters can be a great choice. Either faucet or whole house filters are incredibly convenient and easy, but only useful if you remember to change them frequently and cater to the impurities in your specific water source. Our article, Find the right home water filter, explains all the different types available.
Tap water can work -- sometimes. But that 'sometimes' is entirely out of your hands, because chances are you don't control the chlorination, origin or processing of your town/city/county's water.
Glass and water are a fine pair indeed. Glass pitchers, decanters, and water storage are practical, healthy, and attractive choices in the home, but on-the-go, glass can be impractical as it breaks easily. Verdict: glass does work -- in the right environments.
Refillable containers are my favorite! Metal bottles that I can drop, throw, wash, and refill eight times a day for years are ideal for anyone. The most practical and economical choice in water bottles, refillables are now available in a variety of colors and patterns as well. I choose Klean Kanteen, but Sigg bottles are great too. Find the water bottle that suits you here.
So there you have it -- the full low down on water. Beauty in a bottle of your choice.
