Revolution Organics’ a must for moisture-hungry skin

There’s a new kid on the block in organic beauty: Revolution Organics. Founded by Canadians Melissa Shabinsky and Alexandra Zanella, the company’s goal is to create products that simplify life, and that are healthy and environmentally responsible to boot. So, they’ve concentrated their formulas, used certified organic ingredients, avoided potentially harmful chemicals such as parabens, and pulled it altogether with eco-friendly packaging.

Here’s where the simplicity part comes in: Revolution Organics’ debut collection, of “organic beauty multi-taskers,” is designed to do the work of several standard beauty products at one. Need a face cream? Check. A cuticle cream? Check. Hair conditioner? Check that, too.

We tested the All-over Skin Crème. Its “15 nourishing organic ingredients” are too many to list but sound good enough to eat: green, white and oolong tea, rice bran, sweet almond, apricot and olive oils. The resulting scent was delicate and heavenly, and the cream itself a thick, non-greasy moisture treatment that softened the skin.

Pros: The all-in-one approach is great for travel. Beautiful recyclable and biodegradable packaging.
Cons: Even though this beauty workhorse is concentrated, the 60-mL tube won’t last long.

I've noticed people in countries, where coconuts are readily available, have beautiful skin. So I started putting virgin coconut oil on my skin daily for a year now and love it! It looks greasy for 15 min or so and then soaks in. It's natural oil and much less money.
I have tried www.goddessinspirations.ca and they have 100% all natural too, but they are alot cheaper. I use them and will never go anywhere else. Going green but at a price you can afford.
