Green Living Welcomes the Queen of Green as our guest editor for May!

Lindsay Coulter is David Suzuki's Queen of Green

Lindsay Coulter is David Suzuki's Queen of Green with the David Suzuki Foundation. Ever since her own environmentally friendly wedding, Lindsay regularly provides media commentary on everyday, green living. Prior to joining the Foundation, she collected data in the boreal forest, spent time as a park interpreter, and worked with landowners in Alberta’s grasslands. Lindsay has worked on wildlife and conservation issues since completing her Zoology degree at the University of Alberta. Crafty in the kitchen, she also enjoys making "green" cleaning products and safe cosmetics.

What beauty products are safe for your skin and your family? The Queen of Green takes questions on what it means to live green and clean, especially in the beauty department. Email your questions to and check out next weekly newsletters, Lindsay will be answering questions from our readers for the month of May, look out for her answers in our May e-newsletters. When you participate in the survey, you will be entered into a draw. You'll have a chance to win a locally, handmade makeup bag or shaving kit full of safer cosmetics OR an autographed copy of one of our favorite titles: Slow Death by Rubber Duck, Not Just a Pretty Face, or Dodging the Toxic Bullet. Every two weeks between April and June we'll select two winners.

As a token of thanks, everyone who participates in the survey will receive an exclusive recipe from David Suzuki's Queen of Green for an all-natural beauty product you can make right at home.
