Corporate marketing and consulting

By working with Green Living Enterprises, our clients receive an instantly recognized and respected stamp of environmental approval.

Correct green messaging is a business imperative these days. Consumers are very aware of and extremely well educated about environmental issues. They can see through any attempted greenwashing of products and services. This means the end result of taking the wrong environmental approach can be very costly.

Corporations, manufacturers and retailers who partner with Green Living Enterprises can effectively deliver truly green messaging to customers and employees. From concepts to design to execution, Green Living Enterprises communicates knowledgeable green business practices that save money and the environment.

We also provide our partners with built-in brand-extension opportunities via Green Living magazine, The Green Living Show and greenlivingonline.com. Plus there’s the opportunity to tap into our esteemed Advisory Board, a who’s who of powerful environmental individuals and organizations.

Green Living Enterprises’ clients include The Home Depot, Tridel, the Greenbelt Foundation, Environmental Defence, the Clean Air Foundation, World Wildlife Fund Canada, EcoSchools, Planet in Focus and Wal-Mart.

Sponsorships

Green Living magazine is a sponsor of Planet in Focus, Canada’s Environmental Film and Video festival, now in its seventh year. The Endangered Fish Alliance — a highly successful campaign to encourage chefs and restaurateurs to eliminate endangered fish from their menus — was our initiative. It was eventually donated to Environmental Defence Canada. We are staunch supporters of FSC Canada and initiated a campaign directed at publishers and advertisers to follow our example by using forest-friendly FSC-certified paper for all their publishing and printing needs.

Fundraising events

Green Living Enterprises successfully organized and managed the WWF Auction for Nature on eBay, raising over $200,000 in support of World Wildlife Fund Canada’s conservation efforts. Our fundraising effort encompassed the online sale and consumer purchase of a variety of green goods and services, from eco trips to environmentally friendly products and organic clothing.

Green Living Enterprises also hosted the live presentation of An Inconvenient Truth by former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore, which preceded a small private luncheon to support Mr. Gore’s work and the work of Canadian environmental organizations.
