Ontario Nature award winners 2008

Congratulations to the winners of the Ontario Nature awards given out at the 77th Annual General Meeting and Conference. Twelve recipients were acknowledged for their contribution towards protecting natural habitats.

The Green Toronto Awards took place this weekend at the Green Living Show. The Market Transformation Award rewards leadership in market-based environmental solutions. The winners this year are C.J. Graphics, Local Food Plus and Calstone Inc.

The Green Toronto Awards took place this weekend at the Green Living Show. The Leadership Award rewards an outstanding contribution to the greening of Toronto. This 2008 winners are Greg Allen, Allan Sparrow and the University Health Network.

The Green Roof Award recognizes an individual, company or project contributing to a healthy and beautiful city through the environmental, economic and social benefits of green roofs. This year’s winners are the Fairmount Royal York, Urbanspace Property Group and Gardens in the Sky at Ellis Park.
