Building a greener future

(Oct 21, 2007) From Oct 24-25 some of the most innovative designers and builders will gather in Toronto for the Green Building Festival Trade Show. They will be comparing notes and sharing ideas towards building a sustainable future.

Latest innovations
Now in its third year, the Green Building Festival is a conference and trade show devoted solely to presenting the best designs, technologies and approaches to sustainable building. Over 70 exhibitors will be showing their latest green building technologies, techniques, projects and programs. Special Trade Show Sessions will be offered by Autodesk and Ready-Mix Cement along with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Awards for Green Building.

Leaders in the field
Presenters and delegates include leading innovators and producers, building professionals, real-estate owners and policy makers who are moving the trade to higher levels of environmental performance.

Free admission
The festival will appeal to both the home owner owner curious about the latest green building technologies and those businesses looking to jump ahead in the sustainability drive. The trade show takes place in the Atlantis Pavilions at Ontario Place with free admission to the public.

This key event is presented by the Green Building Alliance - Sustainable Buildings Canada (GBF Secretariat), Canada Green Building Council Toronto Chapter, Toronto & Region Conservation, Canadian Urban Institute

The Green Building Alliance was formed in 2004 by five organizations, Sustainable Buildings Canada, Canada Green Building Council (Toronto Regional Chapter), Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and the Canadian Urban Institute.
